I had this idea of wanting to sew a frilling skirt, after searching the web I discovered the latest trend is pettiskirts.

I fell in love so I had to have one for my diva, but wow the price of some of them so that became another search. This is the 1st of many now that I have sewn. I created quite a few for people for Christmas and for my craft show. They are fun and can be done in so many different colors. I think the next one I will create for lil miss will be bright springy colors, maybe something for Easter. Let me know if you would like one for a certain diva you may know.

As you can see I have a quite the model. This dress was fun I just kind of put it together and I think it turned out pretty cute.

Well it is Friday. I have big plans for the weekend - I want to finish the lace I started at the class I took last Sat. Then I have a pair of overalls to mend and then curtains to sew for a friend. Not to mention I need to start thinking Spring and sew cute springy outfits for my Etsy store and the Spring craft show, especially in this wintry weather a little "sunshine" will be nice.

I am gearing up to find my creative side, I feel my machine beckoning me, but I also have started new activities. So now I have to find that balance. I added a new Bible study and Zumba. Enjoy both, but there is also my families activities as well. I will keep praying and try to stay flexible.

One of my favorites

This is my first post. I am totally new to blogging. I set up this blog for the main purpose of expanding my sewing ambitions. I have sewn for 24 years. I love to sew and I'm addicted to fabric.
I have been working on creating a custom seamtress service. I sew baptism attire, girls clothing and occasionally do minor alternations and mending.
I hope to get organized and set up current projects.
